Four Position Drum Washer
With a maximum throughput of 320 per shift, the RJ-DW4 four position drum washer is the largest dedicated drum washer in the DW series. Fitted with jigs to hold four drums between 30L and 210L in one cycle, this machine is suitable for all but the largest drum reconditioning companies.
RJ-DW4: Four Position Drum Washer
This Rotajet machine is designed for either closed or open topped drums. Each drum is located on rails that help guide the container over the spray nozzle. Each spray nozzle is electrically driven and rotates 360° on both the X and Y axis. This specially designed nozzle ensures coverage of all interior surfaces removing any contamination present.
Depending on if the contamination is a surfactant, oil, alkali or acid, the wash liquor can be adapted to ensure the best cleaning standards are achieved. If combustible materials are present, the RJ-DW4 can also be manufactured to ATEX standards to ensure your workforce and operation is safe.
The RJ-DW4 is constructed out of 304ss to inhibit any corrosive action created by the wash liquors, producing a robust machine that can easily handle the heavy demands of industrial use.
To increase the efficiency of the cleaning process, heating can be installed on the integral sump to provide a regulated heated wash liquor. This can be combined with filtration and recirculation to reduce operational costs.
With a fully integrated PLC wash, cycle times can be adjusted so any heavy contamination can be removed. Once the cycle is complete, the doors can be opened with the aid of a pneumatic lift; further reducing the manual handling required.
