Rotajet Systems is proud to announce the successful installation of an IBC wash line at BKP's facilities.
BKP, a leading waste management company specializing in hazardous waste and recycling solutions, has a long-standing commitment to sustainable practices. The addition of Rotajet’s wash line furthers this commitment by saving BKP time, money, and manpower while ensuring a safe working environment.
Enhanced Efficiency and Sustainability
- Reduced Processing Time:
The wash line automates the cleaning process, significantly speeding up IBC reconditioning compared to manual methods. - Lower Production Costs:
By streamlining the process, BKP minimizes labour requirements and associated costs. - Improved Worker Safety:
The automated system eliminates the need for manual cleaning inside the IBCs, reducing the risk of exposure to harmful substances.
The Rotajet Difference
The wash line incorporates a comprehensive washing system, ensuring thorough cleaning and optimal reconditioning:
- RJ-IWE: This external wash station removes external contaminants and can even remove labels for a clean initial state.
- RJ-IW: The overhead wash nozzle utilizes pneumatics for precise positioning within the IBC. It delivers high-pressure wash liquor to eliminate internal contamination effectively.
- RJ-TVS: This stage specifically targets stubborn residual liquids that pool at the IBC’s bottom. Efficient removal of these liquids accelerates the drying process.
- RJ-PT: To guarantee the safety and integrity of the reconditioned IBCs, a pressure tester meticulously identifies any weaknesses or leaks, ensuring only suitable containers are returned to service
A Promising Partnership
This successful installation marks the beginning of a productive collaboration between Rotajet and BKP. With more projects on the horizon, both companies are committed to driving efficiency and sustainability within the waste management industry.
